COMPANY RENTAL POLICIES
E-Z Rent-A-Car in Los Angeles is an off-airport rental location and is located on the property of LAX Easy Park. Courtesy shuttles are available from the airport to the LAX Easy Park facility. Once you arrive at LAX, simply follow the red sign that indicates hotel and courtesy shuttles and board the LAX Easy Park shuttle.
Mileage Policy
Mileage - Local: 150 free miles per day; Non-Local: Unlimited.
Payment
Credit cards accepted: American Express, Diners Club International, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa. Personal checks are not accepted. A hold in the total amount plus $200 will be taken at the time of pickup. Cash will be accepted as a form of payment on returning the vehicles if the vehicle is secured using a Credit Card.
Check Card/ Debit Card Payments - Payment with a Debit Card/Check Card containing the Visa or Mastercard logo is allowed but will only be accepted for payment if the renter provides proof of full coverage insurance on their personal car. Acceptable proof of insurance is a Declaration of Insurance page which is current and shows the details of the coverage provided by the policy. A charge in the amount of the estimated total plus $200 will be taken at the time of pickup. Upon return, any remaining difference will be refunded to the Debit Card. This is required by California law and is not a typical company policy. The refund may take up to ten days to post to the bank account depending on the individual bank. This process usually occurs in 3 to 5 business days. Please check with your financial institution / card issuer for more information regarding the refund procedure.
Insurance
The purchase of additional coverage is optional. If additional coverage is not purchased, the primary renter and/or additional driver must sign and initial the rental contract confirming that the vehicle and all liability is their responsibility.
Underage Car Rentals
Car rentals are available to renters ages 21 and at this location. An Underage Fee of $20 per day per driver is required for underage renters renting economy, compact, mid-size, and full size cars. There is no fee for renters 25 and older. Fees may be higher for premium car rentals such as convertibles and SUV's.
Note: This location does not allow after hours drop offs. The vehicle must be returned within the open hours of the location.
